Musclefarm, Enginering future dance music with Dutch Legend Eric de Man

Last weekend on the 24th of januari promoter Yum Yum (NL) celebrated it's 10th anniversairy at
the Azijnfabriek Roermond and invited DJ act "Musclefarm" a collab between legendary Dutch DJ Eric de Man and his partner Aron Friedman

Eric de Man ,a dutch legend which is know to be a non genre man, contributes passioned and oustanding djset's to his crowd with an excellent choice of music since early "93. But also his partner Aron Friedman is a long time music explorer and engineer.

With Eric's history of dropping epic set's in his early years,in home town Arnhem, as the resident of Amsterdam's Club Risk, Now &Wow and bording along since it's birth on the Welcome to the Future festival, Eric was always passionate about Chicago house , but the wickedly skilled wizard dropped his own dancefloor mixture of sounds, beats, effects and vocals ,which some report to this day , is to be undescribable yet brilliant for steamy dancefloors . Sure enough this always innovating performer saw his carreer go right to the top of notable Dutch DJ's and producers. Aron on the other hand ,  also know for being a stubborn out of the box DJ ,played his extravagant tunes since 1999 , pushing the legendary clubnights Mono and Traffic in downtown Amsterdam. 

The guys met in 2000 as Aron watched Eric play at Welcome To the Future and was deeply amazed by Eric's performance. Their friendship grew out of their mutual passion for eexquisite music, but it was not before 2012 they founded Musclefarm, a combined music adverture of both personal flavours which premiered , surprisingly not in the netherlands but at Berlin's famous Club Kater Holzig. The guys still treasure great memories of that magical saturday morning performance. 

Today's Musclefarm  is a much beloved act in the dance scene who's recognition is growing worldwide. The Yum Yum crowd experienced a knock out quality experience, remotely grooving
to this amazing sound which makes this blog scream out for more!

Ian O'Donovan - World Away [Connaisseur]

Innovation, talent and skilled is what this blog appreciates the utmost. Next hot post entry is for Dublin based DJ/producer Ian O'Donovan. Keen enough Ian's detroit -techno release on Belgian label Electronic Reeds "Omega Centauri " landed on our porch, making it a instant favorite and a most blog to spread the love. 

Discovered by Laurent Garnier in 2009, Ian is receiving support from respected artist as John Digweed, Dave Clark and Herman Cattaneo. Already releasing on labels as John Digweed's Bedrock, Vince Watson's Bio label, EMI, KMS Records and Darko Esser's Wolfskuil, the artist is described by Laurent garnier as one of the main players in the Detroit techno style and appointed to one of best upcoming dj's worldwide.

Maya Jane Coles - Everything Feat Karin Park (original)

Releasing her first housy records on Dogmatik Records in 2008 and 2009 ,former hiphop and triphop producer Maya Jane Coles is a descent of British and Japanese roots. After being voted best newcomer of 2011 at the DJ Ibiza Awards and a feature on Mixmag's cover, Maya's rising star hasn't stopped shining ever since gaining more and more recognition for herself ,additional winning the "best house/garage/deep house track at the Miami Music conference one year later and hitting #14 place of the Rolling Stone 25 most influential DJ List in 2012.

Maya currently makes underground and festival tours worldwide and shares her decks regularly with some of the most beloved artist such as Todd Terje or Richie Hawtin, but also music festivals with Kraftwerk, Rihanna and the Prodigy are places to shop for some Maya. (This just to broaden your horizon of what the music industry is proudly supporting in this age of Aquarius and we sure appreciate this one!)

That is why we are very excited to hear more from this artist in the near future. Einwandeins

German based Einwandeins alias Patrick Becker has been influenced by electronic music since the early '90, with artist such as Orbital, Underworld,Laurent Garnier, Steve Bug, Gus Gus and many more. Being a DJ and Producer since 2006, Patrick has been playing gigs in different clubs around Frankfurt and is an active event manager with his agency"Groovy Storms" good for more than 150 events a year. Next to that Einwandeins also produces TV show "morgen32" for the German Hessischer rundfunk.

Young Belgium based DJ/producer Max Cole is the founder of Exquisse records and a hot DJ around the Brussels area. As a youngster Max was influenced by Punk, Hip Hop and later New Beat, but started playing House and Techno in Norway 1997,which was very populair at the time. Today Max produces his own tracks with a primarily Electro Tech feel but the DJ made his debut in 2006 on Wah Wah 45 with a chill out track Ay Calor which implicates the wide variety of his musical skills and flavours. Other labels like Scarcrow Music, Muenchen, Electro Superstar, Volt 9 Records and others we're happy to include this young master in their family.

Gettin it on with Santa Fé (Franco Bianco Remix)

The music artist, next fresh producer I would like to mention in my blog is Argentinean Tech-house producer Franco Bianco. After hearing his gorgeous Santa Fe remix,( which original track belongs to Niko Rivera from Chile), I had the need to check up on the guy immediately and it looks like Mr. Bianco is working his ass of to get a front row seat. His busy touring schedule begins in 2007 and has taken him from Chile to Tokyo performing in almost every European country, playing gigs even in Russia and loads of party's in South-Latino America. In 2012 Franco reclammed studio-time and we will be looking out for his release at hopefully the end of 2012.
